La La Land Producer Jordan Horowitz Is The Internet's New Bae

Well, the ending of the Oscars was pretty damn awkward. After mistakenly being awarded the Academy Award for Best Picture, the producers of La La Land had to try to make the best of a very bad situation. While producer Fred Berger offered up a pretty lame "we lost, by the way" and then walked away from the mic without explaining anything, there was one hero who rose up from the awkwardness. Jordan Horowitz stepped up to center stage and handled the situation with class and clarity.

"Moonlight won." Horowitz announced. Everybody watching still seemed confused, so he continued to clarify what happened. “Guys, guys, I’m sorry. There’s a mistake. Moonlight, you guys won best picture." Host Jimmy Kimmel tried to make light of the situation by stating he wished everybody could get Oscars. Horowitz, however, remained steadfast in his classiness, telling Kimmel that he was "going to be really thrilled to hand this to my friends from Moonlight."

The millions of people watching immediately fell in love with Horowitz. He went from a relative unknown to the internet's new bae in a matter of a few minutes. People quickly took to Twitter to talk about their newfound love for the La La Land producer.

Even Barry Jenkins, the director of Moonlight, took to Twitter to reveal he had fallen a little bit in love with Horowitz. He wrote that he was "slipping slowly into reflection, perspective. Much respect to that dude."

It turns out Prince Charming wears a nice tuxedo and loves musicals. Cheers, Jordan Horowitz.
