Sam Smith says he was nervous about releasing a new album and returning to the stage after having taken so much time off, but 2017 has been a "rollercoaster" in a good way.
"It's been mad, but I'm just so happy that I'm still able to do this and that people actually listen to my music still," he told Z100 New York's Maxwell. "It's amazing."
Smith continued saying that he would take his Christmas break to step back and reflect on his success...and "get fat again."
