Carrie Underwood Celebrates Opry Milestone with ‘Cry Pretty’

Carrie Underwood recently graced the Grand Ole Opry stage to mark her 10-year anniversary as a member, and now that performance is gracing the world’s stage.

The country superstar celebrated the milestone earlier this summer with a show-stopping “Cry Pretty” performance, which fans can now view online. Dressed in a sparkly black and red statement dress, Carrie belted each note to perfection and conveyed the song’s emotional message as purely as ever. The singer was invited to become a member of the Opry by Randy Travis in March 2008, and she was inducted two months later by Garth Brooks. Since her induction, Carrie has performed on the Opry stage alongside Jennifer Nettles, Dolly Parton, Reba McEntire and more, and in 2017, she notched her 100th Grand Ole Opry performance.

“Cry Pretty” is the first single from Carrie’s forthcoming studio album, also named Cry Pretty, set for release on September 14.
